Parish Council
The Parish Council meets at 7.15pm once a month, normally on the second Monday at Gamston Village Hall, Old Tollerton Road, except for in August when there is no meeting.
Also once during a year (July) the meeting is held in St Edmunds Church at Holme Pierrepont. There is no meeting In August.
The topics covered during a Parish Council meeting include the parish finances, any planning applications and any events that may effect the local community.
There is representation at each meeting from Rushcliffe Borough Council.
The event is a public meeting and anyone is welcome to attend
NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR PARISH OF GAMSTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
Pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that due to the non attendance of Mark Bancroft, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.
If by 10 June, 2022 (14 days after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Proper Officer at the address below by TEN electors from within the parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than 12 August, 2022.
